Simone Sello is an Italian-born guitarist, music producer, composer, filmmaker, and music journalist. He is known for his work with the Sanremo Festival Orchestra, Billy Sheehan, Aaron Carter, Disney, Hannah Montana, Vasco Rossi, Amber Lily, and Warren Cuccurullo, both as a producer and guitarist; and as a journalist for the magazines Chitarre, Strumenti Musicali and Accordo.

After studying the violin, he started his professional career as a guitarist in Rome, recording a guitar solo on the song “Incinerator”, soundtrack of the homonymous movie, produced in 1982 and never shown until 2020, then recording the song The Fighter with his band Waterfall, for the compilation Metal Attack (RCA 1987).

In 1997, he moved to Los Angeles, where he began working with a wide range of artists and contributing to various music projects. He quickly gained a reputation for his unique playing style, which blends various musical genres and his technical proficiency. Sello has worked with a variety of notable musicians, including Vasco Rossi, Billy Sheehan, and Aaron Carter, as well as performing as a member of the Sanremo Festival Orchestra.

Sello has also contributed to numerous projects for major entertainment companies such as Disney: he has worked on several projects with pop superstar Miley Cyrus, including the hit song “Nobody’s Perfect” and the soundtracks for the hit Disney shows “Hannah Montana” and “High School Musical”.

He has also composed music for several TV series, among which entire seasons of the World Poker Tour.

Sello is particularly well-known for his work on the guitar, where he is recognized for his creative use of effects and guitar synth, as well as his ability to seamlessly blend various musical genres into his playing. In addition to his music work, he has also directed and produced experimental movies, showcasing his creativity and vision in the visual arts.
